I was pleased to hear that I came 2nd place in a landscape photography competition judged by the award winning photographer Nick Rains. Nick the Australian Geographic Magazine Photographer of the Year (2002), has been in the industry for some time and is well respected. Getting recognition from my peers makes all my hard work worthwhile as I grow as a photographer.
