Stormy North Curl Curl…
Sydney has been hammered over the last week with some massive waves. North Curl Curl is a great spot to see them crash into the rock shelf and for taking photos generally at high tide. I was slightly discouraged from getting ’stuck in’ after my close encounter the other week and seeing the Lifesaver Rescue helicopter hovering above. Some kids had got into trouble and needed rescuing. I opted to stay high and relatively dry on the head lands. You can see why from the photo I took, I can’t believe the kids were hanging onto the railings of the rock pool to the left.
